Gina, Katherine, Shannon and Melissa love their daily contact with older women, with whom they sing and talk for two hours every day. They walk about half an hour from the Mexican homes to the service site. Most students take the efficient and inexpensive buses to and from the University and their service assignments. The cost is four and a half pesos, which is about forty-five cents. One dollar in Mexico buys about $10.70 pesos, depending on the ATM or bank rate. Watch your budget!
