LDS Church in Guadalajara
All thirty-five students showed up on time and well-dressed for Sacrament Meeting in the Moctezuma ward in the beautiful chapel not far from the University, which is also next to the Guadalajara Temple, where we will do some work in a couple of weeks. Fast Sunday, several of the BYU students gave their testimonies in Spanish. I almost popped by buttons with pride. Many of the students are already hanging out with Mormon kids in Guadalajara. They have attended church parties and scripture study in Spanish with members of the church. Some are attending a relief society dinner this weekend, too. The attached picture was taken in the combined men's priesthood meeting. The Elder's Quorum President is making assignments to visit the less active, which reminds me: If my Canyon View, East Highland Stake home teaching companion, Jim Nelson is reading this, please do our May home teaching to the Allen and Burns families. Muchas gracias!
