"Lupe" has close relationships with service agencies around the city. She is a very wise woman, mother of seven children, including our Spanish teacher Teresa, and eleven grandchildren (or more, I can't remember). She has a heart as big as Guadalajara (which has six and a half million people). After some of the students expressed their frustration at not knowing how to "handle" the "muy agresivo", love-starved young boys, Lupe taught our students some phrases and techniques. The students who work with these "at risk" children will be well-prepared to raise their own some day.
