This narrow street know as the Callejón del beso (the street of the kiss) is famous for a Romeo and Juliet type story where two kids kissed across the balconies, much to the dismay of their colonial parents. Encouraging BYU students to date and maybe even marry (!) instead of just hanging out with other students in Provo, Bob and Shauna Valentine (on the eve of their 40th wedding anniversary) showed the kids how it is done. The only BYU male on the afternoon Guanajuato tour, Derek Koller obliged for a group picture.
